• Wash your hair with non -sulfate shampoos because curly hair tends to dry.

• Use conditioner that moisturizes hair and make sure they are silicone free that could build up in your hair.

• Try a leave-in conditioner for an easier managing

• Final rinse your hair with cold water to keep hair from frizzing and to add shine.

• Use a wide-toothed comb instead of a brush or even use your fingers to detangle your hair. Detangle your hair while you still have conditioner on because it will be easier and will prevent your hair from breaking. Run your hand through the hair while you rinse.

• Let your hair dry naturally if possible. If not just squeeze the extra moisture out with a towel and leave the towel on your head for 5 minutes. If you want to blow dry it use a diffuser - it will help you get those nice curls. When using a diffuser keep your head tilted and hold it close to the head.

• Use a heat protecting product when blow-drying your hair to protect it from heat damage.

• Apply styling products like mousse, gel or other creams made especially to control and define curls. Do not use too much product because it won't make your hair look better - it will only weight it down. Avoid putting product on the roots but concentrate on the end. These products will help your curls be more defined and flexible.

• When you are done apply a touch of hairspray to add shine and prevent the curls from drooping.

• Keep your hands out of your hair because friction can cause frizz or tangles.
