To be able to French plait your hair you need to have medium length or long hairstyles.

Here is a styling idea to help you get this gorgeous look:

  • part your hair in the center or slightly on the side. Clip the hair on one side using a hair clipper so it doesn't get in your way

  • separate three hair strands from one side of the head and French plait it all the way down the side making sure you are working your way into a nice and smooth line

  • pin the end of the plait on the back of your head or secure the end with an elastic

  • French plait the hair on the other side making sure the French plait is at the same height as the one on the other side

  • take the ends of the French plaits, tie them together and pin them on the back of the head

  • take sections of the hair remained not plaited, twist the hair around and pin it in the back using bobby pins. Pin the sections of hair so you get the shape of a messy bun

  • secure the bun firmly so it doesn't come loose and apply a touch of extra hold hairspray

  • apply shine spray to your hair and you are all done

There are several ways you can style hair with French plaits depending on what you want to obtain and how you like it.
