The natural oils from the surface of your scalp can effectively set your hairdo. It would be useful to skip a day without washing your hair.

Probably the most important task is to make sure that your hair is 100% dry. You know how much damage you can cause to wet hair. Furthermore let your strands cool, before you start back-combing, warm hair can be very fragile.

If you want to tease all your hair, separate it into smaller sections. It's up to you how large or small bulk you want, and the height also depends on personal taste. Create several layers to ease your job, start from the lowest layer and head upwards.
