Many straight haired girls dream of natural spiral curls. Hollywood is also charmed by these beautiful hairstyles. You can also make them in no time. However there are several steps that must precede the curling process.

- First of all shampoo your hair like usually. Remove the excess water with a towel and gradually detangle your hair with your fingers.

- Before curling be sure that your hair is completely dry, if you try to curl your hair while being still wet, you'll cause breakage and damage to it.

- If you want to apply additional mousse, gel or other styling products to your strands do it beforehand. Styling gel specially designed for curls, can be a great help when setting your hairstyle. Apply it smoothly through your hair from a bit lower than your roots way down to the tips.

- It will be easier if your separate your strands into different sections, start from one side going all over the head. Don't make too small sections, your hairstyle will look frizzy.

- Start curling a small section of your hair, begin from the tips and curl up the strand. Be careful don't touch your scalp with the curling iron, it will only hurt your skin and you'll create the 'bumpy head' effect.

- Hold the curling iron vertically, for 25-30 seconds on each strand. Let's see how can you have beautiful spiral curls! Right before you take the curling iron out of your hair, turn it gradually vertically. After the curl is done, release the handle and vertically pull out the curler from your hair.
